McHenry Township Republicans is the local grassroots organization of the Republican Party serving voters throughout McHenry Township.
We believe strong communities begin with informed and engaged citizens. Our job is to connect Republican voters with their local party, support candidates who share our values, encourage participation in local government, and give our neighbors meaningful opportunities to get involved.
Politics doesn’t begin in Washington or Springfield. It begins right here at home.
What We Do
Support Republican Candidates
We work to elect Republican candidates at every level of government by helping campaigns connect with voters, recruiting volunteers, sharing information, and building the grassroots organization candidates need to succeed.
Connect With Voters
Our Precinct Committeepersons serve as the connection between Republican voters and the local Republican Party. They help keep their neighbors informed about elections, candidates, events, and opportunities to participate.
Grow the Grassroots
A strong local party depends on people willing to get involved. We welcome Republicans who want to volunteer, attend meetings and events, help candidates, become Precinct Committeepersons, or simply learn more about what is happening in their community.

Local elections matter. We help McHenry Township residents find reliable voter information, learn about upcoming elections and candidates, and understand how they can make their voices heard.
Our Precinct Committeepersons
The foundation of our organization is our network of Republican Precinct Committeepersons.
Each Precinct Committeeperson represents Republican voters in a specific neighborhood within McHenry Township. They are your local connection to the Republican Party and play an important role in voter outreach, elections, candidate support, and building a stronger organization.
Meetings & Events
Getting involved starts with showing up.
McHenry Township Republicans holds regular meetings and participates in events throughout McHenry Township and McHenry County. Meetings are an opportunity to meet fellow Republicans, hear from candidates and elected officials, learn what’s happening locally, and find ways to participate.
We meet at Buddyz Pizzeria @ 1138 N Green St, McHenry, IL 60050 on the First Tuesday of every month at 6:30pm with business starting at 7pm
